Bio
Jessica has practiced law since 2010. She started her career in the NYS Assembly as Legislative Director and Counsel for a Queens Assemblywoman. Soon after, she started doing civil rights law and has not stopped since. Her primary practice is complex civil rights cases, including those for excessive force, medical indifference, false arrest, malicious prosecution, and similar matters. She has also litigated a variety of other civil and criminal matters.
Jessica graduated with her J.D. and Master’s in Public Administration degrees from Albany Law School and Rockefeller College in 2009. She is a Rockefeller College Center for Women in Government alumna Fellow, and the 2012 recipient of Prisoners’ Legal Services Paul J. Curran Award for commitment to pro bono services to incarcerated people.
She is admitted in New York State, in the Northern and Southern Districts of New York, and in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
